Studio Jardine translates to "Studio Garden" taken from my name, Reneé Charisse Jardine.

I grew up and live in Tuolumne, California. Growing up I was always creating various art and craft projects and if I was not doing that, I was outside. Now I know how fortunate I was to have parents who supported and encouraged my creativity and my messes.

I first sold art and craft projects as a junior in high school. My first job was painting campaign signs (back when they were painted) my senior in high school. Never having any formal art training or given any direction in the field I thought why attend college? I am already doing what I want to do; Creating and selling my work.

Developing my art through the years has lead me to work as a free lance artist as well licensing my designs in the home fashion industry. Besides that I have also published booklets in the craft industry, painted furniture, worked with various types of sculpture, paper art, jewelry making, graphics and more.

The great outdoors has always been the strongest source of my inspiration to create.
